Gro Clock Review
Now that Billie is 3 and a half and wearing undies 24/7, we can longer close her bedroom door at night. She needs to have access to the toilet, but that also gives her access to our room VERY EARLY in the morning. The Gro Clock has saved us!!! Given to us by a friend, this clock has taught Billie to wait until a suitable hour before getting out of bed. For me that is 7am. The clock is great because it's a soothing blue light that dims throughout the night showing a star, with smaller stars around the edge that drop off as the hours go by. When Billie wakes she can see how many stars are left and know that it's almost morning or time to go back to sleep. As soon as it hits 7am the star turns back to the sun with an orange backlight. The images are super cute and easy for children to read.
You can also have 2 different times pre-set. So if you have children who are still napping in the day you can set it to wake them up in the afternoon, or have a separate weekend time. You can also have an alarm set, but we choose to keep it silent so if Billie manages to stay sleeping she won't be woken and we can get a few more minutes to sleep.
You can buy this clock at most baby stores that stock the grocompany sleeping bags (also a fan). Baby bunting have them for $59.95, which is a standard price for them and although expensive, well worth the money!!
