Top 5 Allergy Triggers
Although we are super excited that spring has sprung, we are also hit with a wall of itchy, water eyes, sneezing and runny noses. I should have shares in Zyrtec this time of year, but it's always just something I've delt with. It wasn't until I had my first daughter that I have started to take more notice of allergy triggers as she has super sensitive skin and has been known to break out in hives after a morning playing at the park. The top five allergy triggers are:
1: Tree Pollen
2: Grass Pollen
3: Dust mites
5: Animal dander
There are a few different ways you can combat allergies such as keeping a clean home. Vacuuming regularly if you have pets. Checking the Pollen count, high Pollen days are a good day to steer clear of the park. Boosting your immune system with a good nutrient rich diet. One way to getting on top of hay fever season is with locally sourced honey. It is possible to build up your immunity to pollen by having small amounts of honey daily or weekly throughout the year. As the bees have used the same pollens to create the honey, a small amount regularly will help your chances for Spring.
