Mock High Chair

I purchased this Mocka Soho Highchair when my daughter was 7 months old. She is now 2 and still uses it and LOVE it every day.

I was tossing up between this one and the Stoke Tripp Trapp chair. Both chairs are made from wood. The Mocka uses a wooden baby seat (which I prefer) while the TT's is plastic. The TT's is also smaller in size so won't last as long. The mockas seat and foot rest are both rounded whilst the TT's is square.
I searched through the reviews of both chairs and both had difficulties with children kicking their legs against the table and the chair leaning back as a result. Both chairs now come with small plastic pieces that can be attached to the back on the legs to minimise this problem. II haven't needed to put the plastic bits on because my daughter doesn't push  back from the table but I have kept them just in case she starts.
Both chairs grow with the child as the seat and foot rest are easily adjustable.
The only thing I wish was changeable on the Mocka is the seat cushion. Although the black is very simple and works well, the TT cushions come in lots of different colours and patterns which can make the chair a little more fun.

Prices. The Stokke TT is $329, plus the baby seat, $79, plus a comfy cushion, $69.95 at Baby Bunting. You can get these chairs at most baby stores and all over the internet. Making the chair from around 6 months to 5 years $477.95.
The Mocka Soho High chair, includes the 'baby set' and cushion and costs $109 from the Mocka website.

Which means that you can comfortably buy 4 Mocka Soho's for the same price as 1 Tripp Trapp. For me the Mocka wins hands down. I like the way it looks and functions, and now that we have one more little person, I am excited to be adding another Mocka highchair to our dining table.
