From the age of 18 months my daughter worked out how she could take her arms our of her car seat straps. This new little trick is incredibly dangerous and worrisome. I soon learnt that it is a common mile stone that children reach. I immediately started doing some research and found these clever little gadgets, the houdini stop. The strap is super simple to apply, doesn't grate on the straps and is strong enough that it's not easily moved- meaning less chance of chocking your precious little ones. It has been safety tested in Australia and New Zealand, all with great results. You can pick them up at different baby stores, such as baby bunting, for around $20. I think it's the best $20 I've ever spent for piece of mind. ☺︎
